On July 16, 1999, on the 10th anniversary of the death of Herbert von Karajan, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Claudio Abbado, paid tribute to their late maestro, playing within the confines of the Salzburg Cathedral in von Karajan's home town Abbado: W.A. Mozart - Requiem K. 626 movie. The featured work was Mozart's Requiem, K.626, featuring soprano Karita Matilla, contralto Sara Mingardo, tenor Michael Schade and Bryn Terfel. The concert also included Rachel Harnisch singing two complementing arias "Betrachte dies Mein Herz and Frage Mich" and "Laudate Dominum." Abbado: W.A. Mozart - Requiem K. 626 video.
